A very fine early map of the southern tip of the Indian peninsula with a nearby Ceylon. Narsinga was the region of southern India otherwise known as the Hindu Vijayanagara Empire. The work it comes from is a revised edition of Barent Langenes' 'Caert Thresoor' of 1598 and was first published in 1616.
