Cottingham writes that he has ben to Mr. Woolner, to whom he is considering giving a commission for a statuette of Euphrosyne, and discusses this. Nockalls Johnson Cottingham (1823–1854) who was the son of Lewis Nockalls Cottingham (1787 – 13 October 1847) noted Gothic Revival architect, and was also an architect. Nockalls Johnson was lost in the wreck of the SS Arctic on its way to New York. Letters are uncommon. Thomas Woolner's "Eros and Euphrosyne" was completed in 1848, and reproduced in black Wedgwood.
