Richter del et lith." and "Walter, Imp." John Gould (1804-1881) was an English ornithologist and bird artist, who often worked with other animal illustrators such as Henry Constantine Richter (1821-1902). This print came from his "Birds of Great Britain", which was issued between 1863-1873.
