SIGNED by the author "With the best wishes. . ." and dated in the year of publication on the front free endpaper. The first major study of the leopard in Africa by a game ranger who spent his life studying them. The top edge is dust soiled and there are brown spots on the fore edge, ownership information front pastedown, else this very good in a lightly used DJ with very light stain primarily along the spine.
