Bennett, Benjamin : This Was a Man

Howard B Timmins, Cape Town, 1958

264 pages (complete). Inscribed and signed by Benjamin Bennett on the first free page (dated: Cape Town, August 1958). A gently aging copy of this biography of the advocate and sportsman, Beauclerk Upington. The dustjacket has a clear cellophane protective cover. The dustjacket is scuffed, rubbed, marked, worn all about. It is secure and sure. The boards have not been blessed with careful ownership. They have wear, stains, marks all about. Nonetheless, they are assured and steady. The contents are aged. Due to paper quality, the pages have tanning (mostly about the edges). They are nonetheless, benign, still keen, clear, clear, congenial. fk. Book Condition: Good. Binding: Hardcover. Jacket: Fair
