Germania Nova Tabula MDXXXXII
Imprint: Venice, 1548
130 x 170 mm. Uncoloured early map, in good condition.
A rare modern map of Germany published in Giacomo Gastaldi's influential edition of Ptolemy's "Geographia". Gastaldi was arguably the greatest Italian cartographer of the sixteenth century.
