An English version was also published the same year. The author, Elias Heifetz, was the chairman of the ‘All-Ukrainian Relief Committee for the Victims of Pogroms’, organized under the auspices of the Red Cross; this volume contains a litany of documentation taken by members of the relief commission, lawyers, and others in the Ukraine at the time; includes information in the appendix of pogroms in Ovruch, Proskurov and Felshtin as well as many small villages. Our volume contains endpage bookstamps of the World Jewish Congress (one in English, one in French, a third in Yiddish) ; Yiddish bookstamp remarks that this book was donated for European Jews who were the victims of Hitlerite and fascist terror.
