Reports are titled, “A Report on the Occupational Research and Informational Activities of the leading Jewish Agencies in the United States, ” “Occupational Research and Informational Activities of Leading Jewish Agencies: Report No. 1. Revised January, 1940, ” and “Some Characteristics of 408 Baltimore Jewish Youth: Report No. 4. April, 1940: Experimental Edition. ” The Jewish Occupational Council “established in 1939 in New York as a national advisory and coordinating agency for Jewish organizations and communities in the U. S. And Canada engaged in educational and vocational programs and job placement. ” (yivoarchives.org) The organization is now called the International Association of Jewish Vocational Services. Subjects: Occupations -- Choice -- Jews. Jews -- United States -- Charities. Employment agencies, bureaus, etc. -- Jews. Spines rebacked. All reports have some age toning and minimal library markings. Some edge wear to the reports. The November 1939 report has tears and some chipping along cover fore edge.
