A collection of 175 black and white photographs documenting the “Bericha” - - the 'illegal' underground flight of surviving European Jews into Palestine immediately following the Holocaust. This was the great exodus of European Jews following the holocaust, who illegally crossed the borders of Soviet-occupied lands and made their way as illegal immigrants to the shores of Palestine. Special sections of this album are dedicated to children and orphans who took part in this immigration effort, and another section documents the famous journey of the ship Exodus.
