Unpaginated, c. seven pages, complete. Several small black-and-white illustrations, complete. Brochure is clean and intact overall but on interior panels, there is dampstaining throughout at the bottom which has resulted in pink discoloration, slight rippling, and spots of surface tearing. Most of the text and illustrations are unaffected but small parts of them are. Brochure also has splitting along edges and intersections of fold ilnes, slight bumping to corners, and slight darkening on outer panels. A Good copy. This is a promotional brochure that encourages travel to and settlement in Alameda, California. Text is organized by brief sections describing the positive attributes of the city and Bay Area. Among the aspects of Alameda that are promoted are employment opportunities, housing, beaches, schools, businesses, ports, railway lines, and recreational activities. Some specific places of interest or organization are named such as Neptune Beach, Sunny Cover, the Aeolian Yacht Club, Alameda Bank, and Alameda Sanitarium.
