A Very Good copy. Katharine Brush (1902-1952) was an American author who wrote syndicated newspaper columns, short stories, and novels. She was one of the most popular fiction writers of the 1920s and 1930s and one of the most highest-paid women authors in her time. In this letter, Brush appears to be replying to a previous letter sent by a fan. Brush writes, "Thank you for your nice letter. I'm very glad indeed that you like my books so well. The two that you have read are the most recent ones, and the ones that I like best myself; but there were three earlier books--two novels, 'Glitter' and 'Little Sins,' and a volume of short stories entitled 'Night Club.' I mention these because you asked me--but I don't recommend them very highly! No, I've never written any poetry. A few verses when I first began to write, but those don't count. Sincerely, Katharine Brush." Glitter (1926) was Brush's first novel. Little Sins (1927) was a satire. Night Club (1929) was a compilation of short stories previously published in magazines..
