Signed by Illustrator(s)This collection of paintings by Annigoni - before his famous portrait of Queen Elizabeth II - is signed by the artist in 1957. It is inscribed: Londra LVII. The cover is protected with a clear cellophane wrapping. The dustjacket - like many of the text pages - is discoloured and marked by age and storage. The blue cloth cover has some storage discolouration along the bottom edges. The right hand edge has a small indentation. All four corners have small shelving indentations. The back cover has some glue residue marking at the top and the bottom edge. The front and end papers have discolouration. The illustration plates are free of discolouration, markings. Plate 42 is detached from the binding at the bottom spine edge. It also has a page width diagonal crease marking from the top spine edge to bottom right corner. The pages including plates 29 - 31 have pull markings along the spine. The book can be described as being in good condition throughout. fk. Book Condition: Very Good. Binding: Hardcover.
