Original publisher's brown cloth binding with a gilt decoration of a woven cloth on the front cover and spine. 5 1/4" x 7 1/2." 271 pages, complete. Gilt lettering on spine. Former ownership inscription written in black ink on back of front free endpaper and dated to 1894: "A Merry Christmas to Miss. E. Gertrude Vaughan from Miss Rose C. Baker, '1894.'" Pages and covers are very clean and intact. Binding is tight. This is a novel with both religious and romantic themes by Lida Abbie Churchill (1852?-1922). Interweaving was among Churchill's first two books she had ever written, the other one being My Girls which is semi-autobiographical. Interweaving and My Girls differ from her later books, which center more upon occult, mystical, spiritualist, and supernatural themes. This book is not listed in Wright, American Fiction.. Book.
