Original billhead (Credit Memorandum) printed in red ink on light beige paper. Also includes handwriting in black ink. Purple "Paid" stamp from A. Widemann on front. Datelined June 1, 1896 in San Francisco, California. 8 1/2" x 5 1/2." Billhead is very clean and intact overall except for light age toning, slight wrinkling, a spots of faint discoloration, a few small punctures at top (affects "Credit Memorandum"), and several small chips and closed tears at the edges. A Very Good copy. An original billhead (Credit Memorandum) from Cochill & Kohn of San Francisco to A. Widemann of Gonzales, California. Widemann owned a store in Gonzales. There is one line item credited to Widemann's account, "5 bottles [Hagnoil?] Oil [--?]." The total was $8.98. The bill has a date of May 27. The printed header reads, in part, "Credit Memorandum.
