Richard Cragun (1944- ) is an American ballet dancer and is considered to be among the leading dancers in his profession during the second half of the 20th century. Born in Sacramento, California. After receiving his training in the United States, he joined the Stuttgarrt Ballet in 1962 and remained with the company until 1996, retiring from dancing in the same year. The inscription on the photo reads: "To Bob - With warmest best wishes always - Richard". The Robert is Robert Young Jr. (1927-2008), who was a Sacramento writer. Born in Sacramento, after receiving his training in the United States he joined the Stuttgart Ballet in 1962 and remained with the company until 1996, retiring from dance in the same year. This b/w photograph is inscribed in ink "For Betty and Bob - with whom I share so many of the same ideas and loves, Rich".
