Visually the exterior appearance is acceptable for a book of it's age and nature,i.e. an ephemeral softback, and even internally, the book is also in an acceptable condition/state of preservation and presentation. It is only the few exterior faults described that prevent a higher grading.
'Breaking Free' is an anarchist parody of the popular Tintin series of comics, from a London anarchist group,ATTACK INTERNATIONAL,who produced a one-off newspaper,'The Voice of Reasonable Moderation',in 1987.
An exercise in denouement, the book was written under the pseudonym J. Daniels [Jack Daniels).Attracting the wrath of the tabloid press when it was published, the story tracks Tintin's development from a disaffected, shoplifting youth to a revolutionary leader.
Finally back in print! He's back, and he's bad! Now Tintin's back with his all his pals - Captain Haddock et al - battling it out against the State and bringing the old world to its knees,in a classic full-length graphic story of love, struggle and freedom. Not authorized, and unsuitable for minors due to language and subject content.
