Designed by Zuni Maud (1891-1956) , poems written by Abraham Moses Dillon (1883–1934) ; “Dillon was born in Russia. In 1909 he immigrated to the United States where he experienced years of hunger and hard physical labor. As a poet, he was affiliated with the New York impressionistic movement Di Yunge. His melancholy lyrics were published in anthologies and in the book Gele Bleter (Yellow Leaves, 1919) . A more complete edition of his work, Lider fun A. M. Dillon, appeared in 1935.” (EJ 2007) Yellow Leaves concerns a wondrous poet who carried a beggars bag of yellow leaves which frightens everyone around him. Subjects: Yiddish Poetry.
