Signed by Author(s)308 pages (complete). First edition first impression. Evenden went by two bynames! As cartoonist at the Natal Mercury in Durban he was known as Evo. As founding organiser of MOTH, he was given the moniker Moth 0. He has signed the frontispage with both of these names. In general fair to good condition. The dustjacket is atmospheric and poignant. It is worn and torn and somewhat scruffy. But it is intact, whole and secure. The cloth cover is venerable with some wear to the edges and corners (there are shelf depressions). The spine is intact and sure and mildly worn. Inside, the front and end pages are foxed. The frontispage, with Evenden's signatures, is a gift inscription (not from the author). The first 22 pages are creased but this does not interfere with the generosity of the book. The guttering along pages 8/9 is open but the stitching is intact and secure. Within, the pages are clear, comfortable, assured, proud, companionable, clean and tidy. fk. Book Condition: Good. Binding: Hardcover.
