In very good condition of oversized printed paper softcover. First Edition. Quarto, 183pp + 35 of black and white plates. Scarce material on the coinage of the Bahmani Kingdom of Islamic India. TThe Museum possesses about 5000 coins of Bahmani dynasty which includes 10 gold, 270 silver and the rest copper. All these coins have been selected as well as all gold and silver together with 502 copper coins. The types are described in the text with Islamic inscriptions translated, and photographed for the plates. There is a plate of inked rubbings for each photogrpahic plate, so the inscriptions can be seen better. Softbound, with moderate wear, although the paper covering the spine is more worn and chipping at top and bottom. But binding still strong, and contents clean. Great for the student of Islamic inscriptions. Book Condition: Very Good. Binding: Illustrated Soft Cover
