First Edition (first printing). 8vo. 315pp. Blue cloth lettered in gold at the spine and with blue endpapers. A little light spotting to three or four preliminary leaves, and some further spotting to a score of concluding leaves, in the main only impacting the margins. Some offset discolouration from the dust wrapper design to the backstrip, and with a sliver of fading to the spine ends where the wrapper is defective. Very good in non-price-clipped dust wrapper, chipped with just a little loss to the spine ends and corner tips, with a tiny sliver of further loss from the upper edge of the front panel, a small enclosed snag and just a touch of browning and spotting to the rear panel..
