After the Fall (1964) is a play by Arthur Miller (1915-2005), an American playwright, screenwriter, and essayist. Among Miller's other plays are Death of a Salesman (1949) and The Crucible (1953). After the Fall is a semi-autobiographical play about a man named Quentin who ruminates over a past love, Maggie, and whether he should marry his new love, Holga. The play has been widely interpreted as being Miller's own introspection about his marriage to and subsequent divorce from Marilyn Monroe. However, After the Fall received criticism in part due to the depiction of Maggie who bears a strong resemblance to Monroe.. Book. Book Condition: Fine. Binding: Hardcover.
