Rarely do copies survive without some loss of tone to the cloth but this copy is one such example. The first edition is rare as most copies were lost in a fireand this second ediiton was not pub. for another eight years. The appendix was extened in this edition which is also now scarce especially in fine condition, Some light occasional foxing and an large owners initials to the reverse of the front end-papers.
