Publicity photo (5 x 7 inch), b/w, head shot during the 1930s. Nathaniel Pendleton (1895-1967) was from Iowa and attended Columbia University where he excelled in wrestling and was chosen for the 1920 Olympic team where he won the Silver Medal, loosing only one match. Upon his return he became a professional wrestler and drifted into movies as an extra. He appeared in HORSE FEATHERS (1932), THE THIN MAN (1934), THE GREAT ZIEGFIELD (1936) gaining great reviews as a circus strongman, ANOTHER THIN MAN (1939), NORTHWEST PASSAGE (1940). Pendleton had a continuing role in the DR KILDALE series for MGM. His last film was in 1947.. Book. Book Condition: Collectible-Fine. Binding: No Binding
