Original black-and-white photo postcard. Postmarked January 6, 1908 in Hastings, Nebraska. No date, circa 1908. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2." Title printed at the bottom of the image. Green, one-cent Benjamin Franklin stamp (with cancellation marks) on back. Postcard is used. Small inscription written in black pen in upper-right corner on front. Postcard is very clean and intact except for slight age toning, a few wrinkles, and a few light marks and a pen inscription on front. A Very Good Fine copy. This postcard shows a picturesque view of "golf grounds" in Hastings, Nebraska. The pen inscription on front reads, "Come up and have a game; A--." A brief message, also in black ink, is written on the back and addressed to Mr. T. [or F.] Thibodeau in Crete [?], Nebraska. Anna [?] writes about "arriving here OK" and having a "nice time in Lincoln" with an acquaintance. She finishes with, "Will write more later.". Postcard. Book Condition: Collectible-Very Good.
