Broadside is very clean and intact except for some offsetting at the edges (not affecting text or illustration) and a few bumps and wrinkles at the edges (most prominent bump is a dent at the bottom edge, not affecting text or illustration). A Very Good, almost Near Fine copy. A broadside featuring Jesse Thompson's poem, "The Light of Gutenberg," which pays tribute to Johannes Gutenberg and the role in which his printing innovations played in the furthering of democratic principles through printed books. Text printed at bottom: "Portrait from a painting by F. L. Amberger after the wood engraving by Professor Karl Mahr of Berlin. Printed by Ethan B. Lipton for the Rounce & Coffin Club, 1980."
