Willis (1806-1867) was an acclaimed American author famous for his travel writings. He also worked with literary greats such as Edgar Allen Poe and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. This book covers England and Scotland. As the title suggests, Willis talks about the famous people and places of the two countries and also discusses local customs and culture.. Book.
