Divided into 9 sections with subtopics within each including “History, ” “Jewish Life and Thought, ” “Participation in Cultural Life, ” and “Antisemitism. ” Includes foreword by Alfred Wiener, a German Jew who worked for a Jewish civil rights group and devoted his life to documenting the rise of antisemitism in Germany. Before fleeing Germany in 1933, Wiener “collected books, photographs, letters, magazines and other materials, including school primers and children’s games, recording the spread of Nazi propaganda and its racist doctrines” (Wikipedia, 2016) . He founded the Jewish Central Information Office in London with his collection on September 1, 1939, the day the Nazis invaded Poland.
