Solid binding, bright silver titles and torchbearer, handsome topstain . Contents are very clean with mildly browned pages and moderately browned endpapers. No owner's signature or other writing in text. The dust jacket is also Near Very Good- with chipping at spine extremities and just above the "a" in Anna.. There is a closed tear at the top of the rear panel, and a couple of nicks. Illustration on DJ is of Greta Garbo as she appeared in the 1935 movie of Anna Karenina. Very hard to find this DJ..
